The nonprofit Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE) has unveiled its 2025 international auction calendar, setting the stage for a year-long celebration of premium coffee. This prestigious event will span across 11 countries, commencing in mid-June 2025 and concluding in March 2026. The auctions aim to connect top-tier coffee producers with discerning buyers through rigorous competitions that highlight exceptional green coffee beans.
Starting in Central America, the auctions will kick off with Nicaragua on June 19, followed by Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and El Salvador throughout July. Later in the year, Peru and Brazil will host their respective events in December. These nations have been longtime participants in the CoE program, showcasing their commitment to quality and excellence in coffee production. Meanwhile, newer entrants such as Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia will also join the roster, each having held their inaugural CoE competitions within the past three years. Their inclusion underscores the growing global reach of this initiative.
The absence of Colombia, Ethiopia, and Ecuador from this year's schedule is notable, reflecting changes in participation. However, ACE remains focused on expanding market connections and promoting sustainable practices in the coffee industry. Registration for these auctions is now open, with different pricing tiers for members and non-members. For those passionate about premium coffee, these auctions offer a unique opportunity to support farmers and discover new flavors from around the world. Through these efforts, ACE continues to foster a more connected and vibrant global coffee community.
