THE goodwill gods weren’t playing games when they decided to bless one lucky thrift store shopper with a designer deal.
This secondhand store lover certainly knows all too well just how much work it can be to snag a steal.
After “ten years” on the hunt, however, it finally happened.
In a viral video, Laurs (@laursontheloose) experienced love at first sight – with a one-shouldered black Gucci top.
The price did not match the posh designer item but there were no complaints here.
The tag might have said $9 but she knew that the frock was worth much more than the frugal amount it was selling for.
The Gucci label that confirmed it was made in Italy was all she needed to know.
The item’s “super good quality” was another telltale sign that the steal was real.
One eagle eye fan thought she spotted something even more surprising.
“Omg does the tag say 02? That’s Tom Ford Gucci! So happy for you!” said one follower.

The Italian fashion house currently sells a range of handbags, accessories, and clothing that go into the thousands of dollars.
Designer Tom Ford served as the creative director of the brand from 1994 to 2004.
Still, others were eager to share their own bargain buys.
“I found a $380 JJ Winters suede fringe bag for $10. It made me so happy, but mostly because I wanted a fringe bag and bought it not knowing its value,” said one follower.
Even Goodwill was impressed with her stylish score.
“Ten years is dedication – well deserved!” the thrift giant said.
And as they say, when it rains it pours.
The designer finds certainly seemed to keep dropping from the sky – or at least appearing on the shelves.
A Coach bag in “perfect condition” and a JW Pei bag that sells for $58 that still had the original tags could also be found in the store.
Others wanted to have the same bargain luck bestowed upon them.
