For two weeks, from 5th-19th of April, MECCA and Parisian fragrance label Diptyque are inviting customers to experience their iconic Parisian café culture in the heart of Melbourne’s Hardware Lane. For $40, you and a friend can explore Diptyque’s cult-classic candles inspired by the gourmet scents of their Paris-based Café Verlet, followed by a set breakfast menu inclusive of rich hot chocolates and fresh Baker Bleu pastries, all courtesy of Andrew McConnell’s Morning Market.

Two Good and Jac + Jack launch 'One for You, One for Her' initiative

Australian fashion label Jac + Jack have partnered with charitable organisation Two Good to release a limited-edition special quilted blanket for sale. For every blanket purchased, an identical one will be gifted to someone staying in a women’s shelter. The blankets, which take inspiration from Indian Razai quilts, which stitch layers of incredibly soft, fine-count, muslin-like cotton together for warmth, will be available in two colourways from the Two Good Co website and in Jac+ Jack stores Australia-wide.

Gucci opens their Gucci Cosmos exhibition in Shanghai

Gucci have opened their Gucci Cosmos exhibition in Shanghai this week, marking the first time pieces from the Gucci Archive have travelled out of their home in Florence. The cutting-edge exhibition looks back at the House’s most iconic designs from its storied 102-year history, and was designed by acclaimed British stage designer and artist Es Devlin, fusing innovative audio, visual and kinetic technology. The exhibition artefacts were curated for the show by Italian fashion theorist and critic Maria Luisa Frisa.

Australian womenswear label Anna Quan have released their latest seasonal campaign this week, featuring sorbet hues of blue, yellow and pink across a series of complimentary wardrobe staples. The brand’s High Summer collection is all about the details – sheer fabrics, resin buckles and mesh embroidery – aimed at elevating your daily essentials.

Australian lifestyle brand VIKTORIA & WOODS have announced they are partnering with the i=change donation platform to support the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. Continuing their commitment to environmental philanthropy, the initiative will see AUD$1 from every dale on their website donated directly to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation’s ‘Plant a Coral’ cause, which aims to repopulate damaged reef through the planting of new coral colonies.

Saint Laurent host Jeremy Shockley exhibition, curated by Anthony Vaccarello

The House’s latest exhibition, held at Rive Droite in Los Angeles, featured American painter Jeremy Shockley, whose paintings navigate the impossible and surreal. Curated by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the exhibition includes paintings made over the last year, and The Sunsetter, which was the artist’s first larger scale painting in almost a decade.
