Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2024 show in Shanghai on April 18 marked the debut of the Louis Vuitton Voyager Shows, a rebranding of the maison’s destination runway showcase. The womenswear collection not only showcased the brand’s distinctive travel ethos but also aimed to underscore its enduring relationship with China, more than 30 years after the debut of its first storefront at the Peninsula Hotel in Beijing in 1992.

A coat in the collection features Sun Yitian’s tiger design. Before the Beijing-based artist became known as a collaborator with Louis Vuitton, she was recognised as an “It” artist in China who would paint decapitated Ken dolls, which appeared eerily captivating.
In an effort to infuse this collection with vibrant and joyful homage to Chinese youth, Louis Vuitton collaborated with young contemporary artist Sun Yitian, whose creations adorned various silhouettes. Here, take a look at the outfits worn by the celebrities who attended the show, from Jackson Wang to Cate Blanchett.
