After a successful inaugural edition in November of 2023, The Spring NYC Jewelry & Objects Show returns to the Metropolitan Pavilion from April 18th to April 21, 2024 with a whole new program featuring an expanded range of antique and vintage jewelry exhibitors and the addition of modern independent designer jewelry designers who specialize in limited edition, one-of-a-kinds and historically inspired pieces. Complementing the legacy of period pieces, this curated section will showcase the innovative creations of contemporary jewelry designers, including Heavenly Vices, Circa 1700, Anne Baker Jewelry, GiGi Ferranti, K8 Jewelry, Alex Streeter, Lily Streeter and KIL N.Y.C. Says Samantha Jackson of Heavenly Vices, “ My designs brings a historic slant with a collection of antique Victorian love tokens, which I am showing for the first time at the NYCJAOS. Love tokens were a global phenomenon in the 19th century, when customers commissioned one-of-a-kind engraving, enameling, and embellishment on one of both sides of actual currency, creating a world of hidden meaning and messages, romance, and whimsy. I incorporate love tokens in exclusive bezels and halos, creating a new life for them. In addition to love tokens, I’ve introduced a series of combination lock necklaces that incorporate themes and symbols from the Victorian era as well as signet rings and earrings to complement the collection.”

Disclosure: I am actually excited to disclose that as a 25-year collector of antique jewelry, I will be opening my personal collection and exhibiting some of my favorite pieces that have been locked away in a safety deposit box for much of that time, never before seen by the public. It is my first time ever exhibiting in a show.
