Oprah Winfrey is about to give fans a real insight into her weight loss journey with an hour-long prime-time special to discuss the topic following her recent exit from the Weight Watchers board.
The special will also bring together medical experts to deep dive into weight loss drugs such as Ozempic, with Oprah revealing it’s a very personal topic for her and for the hundreds of millions of people impacted around the globe who have for years struggled with weight and obesity.
The special special will air later this month.

Speaking of Oprah, she’s one of the stars who attended the recent NAACP Image Awards ceremony.
The annual event took place at the Shrine Auditorium in LA honouring people of colour in motion pictures and television.
Queen Latifah was on hosting duties and she took the opportunity to call out inequity in the industry.
“It’s no secret we are facing some seriously pivotal issues, everyone’s talking about inflation – you know what’s not being spoken about? Equal pay for black actresses,” she told the audience.
The film The Colour Purple was the biggest winner on the night, taking home 11 awards and star, Danielle Brooks, gave a beautiful speech.

Usher also scored two big wins, including Entertainer of the Year and the President’s Award.
Celine Dion has shared a message of hope amid her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
She posted a pic with her three sons on Instagram saying trying to overcome the autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of her life.
“But I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible,” she posted.
Celine was diagnosed a little over a year ago, and it comes as she recognises Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day.

And we’re getting our very first look at Timothee Chalamet in his new movie this morning, with some on set pictures from his upcoming Bob Dylan biopic which is currently filming in New York.
Timothee looks completely the part in a ’60s style outfit, holding a worn guitar case.
The film is called A Complete Unknown and will tell the story of how Bob Dylan became a folk music legend.
Now, speaking of Timothee, his other movie Dune: Part II is doing very well at the box office, now joining Barbie and Wonka as the third Warner Brothers release in a year to cross the $200 million mark domestically.
And finally, Jimmy Fallon knew exactly who to call for a little classroom rendition of the Ghostbusters theme song.
Not only did he bring together the OGs Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, he also teamed up with the original singer of the theme song, Ray Parker Jr.
