Christian Music Tour Set to Inspire Audiences in Canton
2025-04-04

A highly anticipated Christian music tour, featuring renowned artist Phil Wickham, is set to grace the stage of the Canton Memorial Civic Center this autumn. Accompanying Wickham on this spiritual journey will be talented performers Charity Gayle, Josh Baldwin, and Benjamin William Hastings. This tour, known as the "Worship Now Tour," spans twelve cities across the nation and is organized by Air1, an esteemed American Christian radio network under the Educational Media Foundation (EMF). Wickham expressed his excitement for the event, emphasizing its significance not only for the music but also for the unity it fosters among communities coming together in worship.

Phil Wickham has long been a prominent figure in the contemporary Christian music scene, achieving widespread acclaim with his 2007 album "Cannons." His music resonates deeply with audiences, having garnered over two billion streams in the United States alone. Some of his most celebrated tracks include "This is Amazing Grace" and "This is Our God," both of which have become anthems within the genre. Known for blending guitar-driven pop rock with synthesizers, Wickham crafts uplifting, faith-based melodies that inspire collective singing and devotion. Often compared to fellow Christian music star Chris Tomlin, Wickham continues to influence and expand the reach of worship music.

Beyond his musical achievements, Wickham boasts numerous accolades, including Dove Awards in modern worship music. His 2024 album "I Believe" was even Grammy-nominated, reaching the top spot on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In addition to the "Worship Now Tour," Wickham plans to lead the "Singalong Tour" this spring alongside Cody Carnes and Kristian Stanfill, followed by the "Summer Worship Nights" Tour featuring Brandon Lake and Josiah Queen on select dates.

The Air1 "Worship Now Tour" commences on October 8 in Kansas City, making stops in Indianapolis, State College, Pennsylvania, before arriving in Canton for a 7 p.m. concert. The tour concludes on October 26 in Washington State. Tickets go on presale starting April 8, with general availability beginning April 10. Prices start at $25, offering fans an opportunity to experience this transformative celebration of music and faith firsthand.

This upcoming event promises to bring joy and inspiration to all who attend, celebrating the power of music to unite people in shared reverence and admiration. Fans eagerly await the chance to witness Phil Wickham and his fellow artists perform live, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
