Expanding its reach across Europe, Cathay Pacific is set to enhance connectivity with nearly 100 round-trip flights weekly to 12 destinations. This summer, the airline introduces a direct service from Hong Kong to Munich, marking another milestone in its global expansion. Starting this week, travelers can enjoy four weekly departures on specific days, connecting two vibrant cities seamlessly.
Air travel between Hong Kong and Munich will be facilitated by state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft. These planes offer passengers an array of cabin options, including luxurious flat-bed seating in Business Class, generous legroom in Premium Economy, and comfortable standard Economy seating. Timing-wise, flights are scheduled for maximum convenience, departing Hong Kong early mornings and arriving in Munich by dawn, with returns planned during afternoons and arrivals back in Hong Kong overnight.
Beyond Munich, Cathay Pacific continues to broaden its horizons by adding Rome and Brussels to its roster shortly. Collaborating with HK Express, the group anticipates integrating 18 new locations into their network next year, achieving a remarkable total of 100 passenger destinations globally. Such developments underscore Hong Kong's pivotal role as a bridge connecting mainland China with international markets. Furthermore, Cathay Cargo complements these efforts by planning seven freight services weekly to Europe, ensuring robust support for both passengers and cargo demands.
