2025-08-06

The esteemed Provencal winery, Château d'Estoublon, is once again solidifying its commitment to equestrian excellence by renewing its sponsorship with the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) London for 2025. This collaboration signifies a convergence of prestige, bringing the refined elegance of French winemaking to one of the world's premier showjumping events. Guests attending the tour will have the opportunity to savor a curated selection of Château d'Estoublon's Roseblood wines, further enhancing the luxurious atmosphere of the competition. This enduring alliance not only elevates the spectator experience but also underscores the global appeal and quality associated with both the LGCT and Château d'Estoublon's distinguished vintages.

Château d'Estoublon's strategic initiatives extend beyond this significant partnership. The winery has actively pursued a broader international footprint, notably expanding its Roseblood range into the Asia Pacific markets. This global outreach, coupled with a steadfast dedication to the artistry of winemaking, positions Château d'Estoublon as a pivotal player in the global wine landscape. The commitment to showcasing Provence's unique viticultural heritage through such high-profile events and new market penetrations demonstrates the brand's vision for growth and its continuous pursuit of excellence.

A Taste of Provence at the Global Champions Tour

Château d'Estoublon, a celebrated Provencal wine producer, is once again taking center stage as the official wine partner for the Longines Global Champions Tour London in 2025. This esteemed showjumping competition, scheduled from August 8th to 10th at the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea, will feature a selection of the winery's exquisite Roseblood wines. This renewed partnership is a testament to the shared pursuit of excellence between the equestrian event and the winery. Vérane Trachino, marketing and communications director at Château d'Estoublon, emphasized the brand's dedication to bringing a slice of Provence to London, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the unique spirit and craftsmanship of their estate. This collaboration also extends to creating immersive terrace experiences in London, transporting guests to the heart of Estoublon through its Art de Vivre philosophy and fine wines.

During the three-day event, visitors will have the chance to indulge in Château d'Estoublon's diverse range, including Roseblood Rosé, Roseblood White, and the red wine DPO Les Baux de Provence. These wines will be generously served in various exclusive settings, including the VIP hospitality suite, the Global Champions Lounge, all event bars, and at the much-anticipated riders' Saturday evening celebration. This extensive presence ensures that the Provencal producer's wines are integral to the event's luxurious experience. The partnership builds on a series of successful summer collaborations for the brand, including the recent launch of stunning summer terraces at Covent Garden's Floral Court and the St. Martins Lane Hotel. Such initiatives highlight Château d'Estoublon's commitment to engaging with its audience and showcasing the versatility and appeal of its wines in various prestigious environments.

Expanding Horizons and Rosé's Enduring Appeal

Château d'Estoublon has been actively expanding its global reach, particularly in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. In October, the winery successfully introduced its Roseblood range to new markets, including Taiwan, the Maldives, and Australia. This strategic expansion demonstrates the brand's foresight and commitment to establishing a significant presence in emerging wine markets. Denis Monticolo, commercial director at Longines Global Champions Tour, expressed his delight in welcoming Roseblood d'Estoublon back as the Official Wine Partner, emphasizing the mutual passion for excellence that underpins their continued collaboration. In Taiwan, a masterclass event organized by local import partner No Limit, owned by Natasha Leung, marked the official launch of Roseblood to local trade and influencers. Hosted by Roseblood APAC Brand Ambassador Ian Ford, the event showcased the full range of Roseblood wines, further cementing its position in the region.

Natasha Leung praised Roseblood as a pioneer in the Asian rosé market, acknowledging that while rosé wine is not yet mainstream in Asia, particularly in Taiwan, its potential is undeniable. Despite a global slowdown in the rosé category in 2023 after a decade of significant growth, it still managed to outperform other wine categories, demonstrating strong appeal in key markets like the US, the UK, and Australia. This resilience is also evident in France, the primary producer and consumer of rosé, where Provence rosé exports saw a 4% increase last year, defying a general slump in French wine exports. François Matton, CEO of Château Minuty in Provence, highlighted the region's unique terroir—its soil, climate, and the influence of the Mediterranean Sea—as factors that make Provence the preeminent source for rosé, much like Champagne is for sparkling wines. This reputation was further solidified in May when Provence's Sainte-Victoire region achieved Cru status, underscoring its premier standing in the world of rosé production.
