Fundraising for a Trishaw Bike

Rutledge Home saw this event as a chance to raise funds for a special trishaw bike. As Cayci Young, the executive assistant, explained, "The bikes have a motor and a peddler, and the front is like an open bucket seat. This allows residents to be transferred from their wheelchair into the bicycle and enjoy a bike ride. It is available to anyone in the community to use." This initiative shows the home's commitment to providing unique experiences and opportunities for all.
