In a stellar display of athletic prowess, Greensburg emerged as the conference champion in high school tennis this season with an undefeated record of 7-0. The EIAC All-Conference honors were bestowed upon sixteen talented players from various schools within the league. Leading the pack, Greensburg claimed five all-conference selections, showcasing their dominance on the court. Other notable teams such as Connersville, East Central, and Lawrenceburg also performed admirably with strong finishes.
The Greensburg team, under the strategic guidance of Coach Kyle Sellers, who was recognized as the EIAC Girls Tennis Coach of the Year, has set a new benchmark for excellence in the sport. Among their standout athletes is Mary Harmon, who earned the prestigious title of EIAC MVP alongside teammates Emma Kuntz, Adelyn Stier, Leah West, and Mya Comer. Their exceptional performance not only highlights individual talent but also underscores the cohesive teamwork that propelled them to victory.
Other schools did not go unnoticed either. The Trojans from Connersville garnered four all-conference nods through Bella Starr, Sophia Starr, Ella Miller, and Maddie Harrison. Meanwhile, Lawrenceburg’s representatives included Maddy Nelson, Cadanae Fricke, and Acym Tastembekova, reflecting the competitive spirit across the board. Lastly, East Central's Maddie Noel, Ava Vogelgesang, Eva Steinmetz, and Ava Detlaff joined the ranks of honored players.
