This initiative not only offers seamless hospitalization without cash transactions but also ensures priority access to specialists and coordinated cancer care between Hong Kong and mainland China. Through partnerships with Guangzhou United Family Hospital and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital, this service aims to revolutionize healthcare accessibility in the region.
In a groundbreaking move, FWD Hong Kong has joined forces with New Frontier Group to enhance medical offerings within the Greater Bay Area. The collaboration introduces an innovative cashless hospitalization service, ensuring insured individuals can receive treatment without upfront payments. Furthermore, policyholders benefit from expedited consultations with top specialists and synchronized cancer care involving hospitals across borders. These enhancements are made possible through two key institutions: Guangzhou United Family Hospital and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital.
FWD’s commitment extends beyond these facilities, encompassing all Grade 3A hospitals throughout mainland China, including over 120 locations within the GBA. New Frontier Group operates a vast network of general and specialized hospitals while providing comprehensive health management services spanning both Hong Kong and mainland China. Their alliance seeks to unify medical resources and streamline patient care across the region.
As part of their strategic expansion, FWD will integrate its PREMIER THE ONEcierge One Team Health Management network into the designated hospitals. This integration will facilitate cashless admissions, prioritized scheduling with affiliated physicians, and telemedicine consultations bridging doctors in Hong Kong and mainland China for complex cases like cancer treatment. Notably, Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital adheres to Joint Commission International (JCI) standards, occupying approximately 73,000 square meters and catering primarily to middle- to high-income families in the area.
Guangzhou United Family Hospital complements this effort by offering diverse medical disciplines such as internal medicine, surgery, rehabilitation therapy, traditional Chinese medicine practices, and around-the-clock emergency assistance. Together, these developments mark a significant stride toward more accessible, efficient, and integrated healthcare solutions tailored specifically for residents of the Greater Bay Area.
This partnership signifies a pivotal advancement in regional healthcare infrastructure. By eliminating financial barriers during hospital stays, expediting specialist appointments, and fostering cooperation between medical professionals across borders, it sets a benchmark for future collaborations. Patients now enjoy unparalleled convenience and continuity of care, enhancing overall well-being and satisfaction among insured individuals within the vibrant ecosystem of the Greater Bay Area.
