2025-06-19

This Saturday, the Lynn Music Festival is set to take place at Red Rock Park, offering a day-long celebration of music, art, and local culture. Hosted by Mr. PSA and DJ Real Wavey Rey, the event will run from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. and feature performances from a diverse lineup of artists spanning various genres such as indie rock, hip hop, pop, and R&B. The festival aims to bring together residents of Lynn through an engaging mix of live music, food vendors, art booths, and community resource tables, all free of charge.

Among the performers scheduled to appear are the joyful JP Honky Tonk Band, Boston-based singer-songwriter Abby Moskow, and New Hampshire artist Analise, known for her alt-indie sound. Other highlights include Malik Elijah, whose music blends classic lyricism with experimental layers, and Yelena, a Latin soul powerhouse recognized for her emotionally rich performances. Additionally, DREION, a Berklee College of Music graduate and former contestant on The Voice, will headline the event at 7 P.M., sharing his personal journey and experiences within the foster care system. His performance will also include a special Q&A session for foster families at 6 P.M.

Beyond the musical acts, festival attendees can enjoy offerings from numerous food vendors and explore creative displays at art booths. Collaborative efforts between North Shore Community College and Salem Trolley will provide complimentary trolley services to alleviate traffic congestion, allowing visitors to park conveniently at the college's lot on Washington Street. The event is made possible through funding from Save the Harbor, Mass Development (Lynnspire), and the Lynn Cultural Council, alongside sponsorships from local businesses like Inc.ubate Coworking Lynn and Golden Builder Construction Inc.

In addition to the impressive lineup of musicians, the festival promises an immersive cultural experience with opportunities to connect with local artisans and organizations. With activities designed to engage both children and adults, the festival seeks to strengthen community bonds while celebrating Lynn's vibrant artistic heritage.

As the sun sets over Red Rock Park, the Lynn Music Festival will leave a lasting impression on its attendees, inspiring them to embrace the power of music and culture in fostering unity and understanding. By showcasing diverse talents and voices, the event not only entertains but also educates, encouraging everyone to support and uplift underrepresented communities within their own neighborhoods.
