BALTIMORE (WBFF) — On Thursday afternoon, Mayor Scott came together with City officials and Baltimore City Recreation & Parks to mark the commencement of the construction for the brand new Greater Model Aquatic Center. This significant project is set to replace the aging Greater Model Pool that closed its doors five years ago. The reason for its closure was the deteriorating infrastructure and maintenance issues, which made the repair costs prohibitive.
