In a significant development for the construction and HVAC industries, the HVAC+R Live show has been rescheduled to coincide with UK Construction Week London. This strategic alignment aims to create a comprehensive platform that highlights the critical role of HVAC and refrigeration in modern construction and sustainability efforts.

New Dates and Venue Announced for HVAC+R Live Show

In the heart of London, at the ExCeL exhibition center, the HVAC+R Live show is set to take place from May 7-9, 2024, alongside UK Construction Week. The decision to co-locate these events was made by the organizers, Datateam Business Media and Media 10, to maximize synergy and provide an unparalleled experience for attendees. UK Construction Week has established itself as a premier event for the construction industry, attracting around 18,000 visitors annually since its inception in 2022. The inclusion of HVAC+R Live will enhance this already robust event by adding specialized exhibits on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technologies.

Besides HVAC+R Live, the expanded program will feature other notable attractions such as Workwear & PPE Live, Onsite On Hire, and showcases of cutting-edge tools and machinery. International pavilions from Italy, China, and Turkey will also be present, offering a global perspective on the latest advancements in construction and related fields. This collaboration between Datateam Business Media and Media 10 promises to deliver a comprehensive platform that underscores the importance of HVAC and refrigeration in achieving net-zero goals.

Sam Patel, divisional director of UK Construction Week, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "By joining forces with Datateam Business Media, we can leverage our combined expertise and resources to create an exceptional event. Together, we aim to highlight the indispensable role of HVAC and refrigeration in modern construction and sustainability initiatives."

Paul Ryder, media director at Datateam Business Media, echoed similar sentiments: "This collaboration allows us to utilize our industry knowledge to offer a dedicated platform for HVAC and refrigeration businesses. We are excited to contribute to an event that brings together key players from across the supply chain."

From a journalist's perspective, this strategic realignment of events signals a growing recognition of the interdependence between HVAC technology and sustainable construction practices. By bringing these sectors together, the organizers are fostering an environment where innovation can thrive, ultimately driving progress toward more environmentally friendly building solutions. This move not only benefits the participating businesses but also sets a precedent for future collaborations in the industry.
