This year’s 49th edition of the Smoky Hill River Festival is set to bring a vibrant mix of returning favorites and fresh faces. From June 12 to 15, Oakdale Park in downtown Salina will host an array of musical performances, visual art displays, and delectable food options. The festival will feature renowned bands such as The Freedom Affair, My Son the Hurricane, and Carswell and Hope, alongside emerging artists. Additionally, attendees can enjoy both familiar and new culinary delights from over 30 vendors. Admission is via wristbands available for purchase starting May 1.

The festival also showcases about 50 new visual artists, along with returning award winners. Demonstrations in various crafts like metalwork, weaving, ceramics, wood, and glassblowing will enhance the artistic experience. This combination of entertainment, art, and cuisine promises an unforgettable event for all participants.

Food service begins promptly at 4 p.m. on June 12, continuing throughout the weekend. With wristband sales starting May 1 and electronic payment methods now accepted, accessing this feast of creativity and flavor has never been easier.
