We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating regional social media teams, managing social media planning, and scheduling, and ensuring alignment with key stakeholders to execute social media strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute social media strategies across global platforms, including Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and Pinterest, working in tandem with the team.
– Oversee the creation and management of the editorial calendar for all platforms where the brand is active.
– Collaborate with key internal and external partners to coordinate social media launches.
– Lead the coordination of social media activities with teams in Asian markets to ensure a cohesive social strategy, content planning, and local platform engagements.
– Manage the social media team’s invoicing and budget, ensuring compliance with financial protocols.
– Oversee the creation of contracts with various vendors, in collaboration with Legal and Indirect Procurement departments.
– Supervise a social listening and crisis management agency, translating sentiment analysis into practical strategies and plans.
– Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that social media initiatives are in line with overall marketing and business goals.
– Actively explore and assess new social media platforms, tools, and vendors, and provide insights for improved effectiveness and efficiency.
– Stay abreast of industry trends and new platforms to keep the brand’s social media presence innovative.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in social media management, preferably in the fashion or luxury industry.
- Strong understanding of Asian markets, social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of legal and taxation processes related to social media contracts is a plus.
