Gunna has doubled down on his denial that he’s a snitch on a new collaboration with Offset called “Prada Dem.”
On the track, which hit streaming services on Friday (March 15), the Atlanta rapper addresses the allegations directly, insisting that he’s “not a rat.”
Over wispy synths and hard-hitting trap drums, the “fukumean” rapper spits: “I set the trend, I’m a trendsetter/ I’m not a rat, still gettin’ cheddar.”
Check out the official video for the track below.
Gunna has been batting off snitching allegations ever since he took a plea deal in the RICO case against his and Young Thug’s YSL collective in December 2022.
The Drip or Down hitmaker entered into an Alford plea, meaning he pleaded guilty to a single racketeering conspiracy charge while maintaining his innocence on that same charge as a form of self-preservation.

He was also subsequently released from jail while Thugga, who is currently on trial, remained behind bars without bond.
Many, including fellow rappers such as Lil Durk, Lil Baby and Jim Jones, have been vocal about their criticism of Gunna’s decision.

Gunna and Baby, who previously teamed up on the 2018 album Drip Harder, began sparring last summer, with Gunna seemingly dissing his former collaborator on “Bread & Butter.”
The 4PF founder later fired back on an unreleased song while also calling Gunna a “rat” when their song “Drip Too Hard” began playing during a concert.
The YSL rapper has repeatedly denied snitching on Young Thug.
Following his plea deal, he said: “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” he said in a statement following his release from jail.”

He also addressed Young Thug directly on “I Was Just Thinking,” from his album A Gift & A Curse: “That’s four walls talkin’ to you, tellin’ you you gone/ Only I done criеd, ’cause this feelin’ for my bro (King Slime)/ And you know my mind, you done watched that n-gga grow/ I know you hear the lies, it’s your lil’ brother, my folk/ Yeah, I had popped out, but don’t let ’em say I told.”
Notably, “Prada Dem” is Gunna’s first collaboration with another rapper since the controversy as many of his peers have seemingly distanced themselves from him.

When he began teasing the track late last year, Offset’s former Migos partner Quavo seemingly threw shade by posting a photo of him rocking a “Free Young Thug” shirt.
