Achieving a remarkable milestone, Kentucky's Bourbon & Beyond has been honored as Pollstar’s Music Festival of the Year for 2025. This prestigious accolade reflects the festival's consistent growth and innovation over the years. Mayor Craig Greenberg expressed his pride in the recognition, emphasizing the event's significance in attracting visitors from across the globe. With its unique blend of music, bourbon, and local culture, Bourbon & Beyond continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
Building on this success, Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) has entered into a significant long-term partnership with Kentucky Venues. The agreement ensures that both Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life festivals will be hosted at the Highland Festival Grounds for the next decade, spanning from 2026 to 2035. This commitment underscores not only DWP's dedication but also highlights Louisville's strategic role in fostering cultural and economic development. Governor Andy Beshear praised the collaboration, expressing gratitude for DWP's choice of Kentucky as their home base.
Beyond its musical appeal, Bourbon & Beyond serves as a vibrant showcase of Kentucky's rich heritage. In 2024 alone, the festival drew attendees from all 50 states and 27 countries, with over 70% traveling from outside Louisville. Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell highlighted how the event promotes Kentucky Proud values by spotlighting local farmers, distillers, and artisans. The festival's profound impact is further evidenced by its substantial contribution to the local economy, generating over $33 million last year. As Bourbon & Beyond continues to evolve, it remains a testament to the power of uniting diverse communities through shared experiences of art, music, and culture.
