Kim Kardashian admits she went through OJ Simpson’s bag in murder investigation

Kim Kardashian admitted she went through the Louis Vuitton bag belonging to OJ Simpson that was thought to contain evidence regarding the murder of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.

Yesterday it was announced that O.J. Simpson has died aged 76 after a battle with cancer. A statement posted on his social media accounts read: “On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”

The former NFL star, famous for his high-profile court case, had been battling prostate cancer which became public earlier this year. O.J. was famously accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman after they were found stabbed to death outside her Los Angeles home.

Kim’s dad, Robert Kardashian Sr, was OJ Simpson’s attorney during the highly publicised case in which the former NFL star was acquitted of the double murder. And in an interview from 2016, Kim spoke about how her dad had brought home OJ’s Louis Vuitton bag, with the reality star speaking out about how she had a look through it.

Speaking to GQ Magazine, Kim said that after her father brought home OJ’s Louis Vuitton garment bag, she spoke of what she found inside it, noting: “Just toiletries and clothes and golf clothes. Just random stuff.”

She added: “I’m pretty sure it’s, like, still in – probably in my dad’ storage. I know people said at the time that he [joined Simpson’s defense team] so he couldn’t be called as a witness, because he had that Louis Vuitton bag that supposedly had the [murder] weapon and stuff like that.”

She added: “But that bag was sitting at my dad’s house. I remember I went through it. The news was like, “Where is this Louis Vuitton bag?” And I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s upstairs.'”
