Upon arrival, they encountered a 75-year-old man inside his parked car with the engine off. During the interaction, it became evident that the man was under the influence of alcohol, leading to his arrest on charges related to driving under the influence (DUI).

The unusual circumstances surrounding this case began to unfold just before 8:30 PM on a Friday night. Authorities were summoned to the Fendrich Golf Course located on East Diamond Avenue. Upon reaching the scene, officers found Robert Hagood, aged 75, seated in his vehicle. When informed by the police that he was not on the road, Hagood appeared confused and mentioned he was attempting to exit the Lloyd Expressway. This statement raised further suspicion about his state of mind and sobriety.
