New Holland Unveils Enhanced PowerStar Tractors for 2025
2025-02-20

New Holland has introduced significant upgrades to its PowerStar medium utility tractor lineup for the 2025 model year. The series now offers expanded transmission options and heavy-duty features, enhancing performance and operator convenience. The new models boast a range of horsepower from 86 to 117, powered by a robust FPT Industrial 3.6-liter four-cylinder engine. Key enhancements include a larger fuel tank, extended service intervals, and advanced transmission systems. Additionally, the tractors feature improved weight distribution and new loader designs for better stability and visibility.

Advanced Transmission Systems and Operator Convenience

The updated PowerStar series introduces versatile transmission options tailored to different operational needs. The 12×12 transmission with an electronic power shuttle is available on the three largest models, while the 24×24 Dual Command transmission can be selected across all models. Both transmissions incorporate Dynamic Start-Stop technology, simplifying start and stop operations. This innovation enhances ease of use, allowing operators to manage the tractor more efficiently.

Moreover, the Dual Command transmission offers Hi-Lo speed settings within each gear, providing greater flexibility in various farming scenarios. For models equipped with this transmission, New Holland has introduced a joystick control system that manages the loader, shifting between speeds, and adjusting preset engine speeds. These advancements streamline operation, making it easier for farmers to handle complex tasks. The inclusion of the electronic power shuttle ensures smooth transitions, reducing operator fatigue and improving overall efficiency.

Enhanced Design and Operator Comfort

The redesigned PowerStar tractors prioritize operator comfort and stability. A notable change is the introduction of a heavier front axle, which shifts the center of gravity rearward, enhancing stability when using heavy implements. The tractor's increased weight allows for better pulling power, crucial for demanding agricultural tasks. The loader design has also been revamped to align with the tractor’s hood styling, improving visibility for the operator.

Farmers have the option to choose between two loader models: the non-self-leveling 650LU or the mechanical self-leveling 655LU, offering greater lift capacity. All models feature a multi-connection coupler that simplifies loader installation and removal. Inside the cab, operators will find a new air suspension seat and digital instrument cluster, contributing to a more comfortable and informative driving experience. An additional roof window increases visibility when the loader is fully raised, ensuring safety during high-lift operations. The optional ComfortRide cab suspension further enhances operator comfort during long hours of work.
