Seventh Anniversary Celebrated with Exclusive Brews
2025-04-22

This month, the brewing world is abuzz as Von Ebert Brewing commemorates its seventh year in operation with two eagerly awaited collaborative brews alongside the renowned Russian River Brewing Company. Known for its exceptional Pilny series, this partnership highlights a shared passion for crafting high-quality beverages. According to Sam Pecoraro, the brewmaster at Von Ebert Brewing, their decision to focus on German-style Pilsners and West Coast IPAs aligns perfectly with their reputation and expertise. These special releases symbolize the brewery's commitment to blending tradition with innovation, celebrating seven successful years of operation.

The new anniversary offerings promise an exciting taste experience. The 7th Anniversary Pilsner features a balanced profile with floral and citrus undertones at 5.0% ABV, while the 7th Anniversary West Coast IPA delivers tropical fruit flavors such as lime, guava, passionfruit, and strawberry at 6.8% ABV. Both brews will be available across all Von Ebert locations, both on tap and in 16-ounce cans, as well as select Northwest retailers, restaurants, and bars. Special events are also planned, including tap takeovers at Cascadia Taphouse on April 24 and Moon & Sixpence on May 1, providing beer enthusiasts unique opportunities to sample these limited-edition creations.

Beyond the collaboration beers, Von Ebert Brewing continues to celebrate its milestone throughout the year. Their North Mississippi location offers commemorative 20-ounce Clubhaus Lager steins for $3 daily, along with discounted $5 pints of Volatile Substance NW IPA Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. Recently expanding its facilities at 825 N. Cook St., Portland, the brewery has significantly increased production capacity from 4,000 barrels annually to up to 20,000 barrels. This expansion allows them to distribute more offerings in 12-ounce cans, including popular selections like Volatile Substance NW IPA, Sector 7 Hazy IPA, Pils, and Clubhaus American Light Lager. With roots tracing back to 2018 and inspired by Grandma Ebert's immigrant journey, Von Ebert Brewing exemplifies how determination and heritage can fuel success, earning prestigious World Beer Cup medals in recent years.

Inspiration flows not only from the craft of brewing but also from the legacy of family and perseverance. Von Ebert Brewing's achievements serve as a testament to the power of staying true to one's origins while embracing growth and innovation. As they continue to expand their reach and refine their offerings, the brewery remains committed to delivering excellence in every pint, honoring both their past and the bright future ahead.
