ALTHOUGH some people claim that designer handbags are an investment, few of us would be willing to spend thousands on the latest ‘IT’ bag.
It turns out that you can have a luxe wardrobe without spending a lot though, as H&M have released a dupe of a Gucci handbag – worth over £2,000.
The stunning bag is one of many designer dupes being sold by the fast fashion brand, with others that look virtually identical to Balenciaga and Dior.
Even the biggest followers of fashion will be tempted to save their pennies and get this thrifty find though.
Coming in a stunning chocolate brown shade, the H&M shoulder bag has a curved strap that is eerily similar to the high-end alternative.
Just like Gucci’s Jackie bag, it also has gold-toned hardware and the polyester-blend material has a grain effect – similar to real leather.

The copycat bag even has a metal fastening, which looks like it was modelled on the iconic clasp that horse bit buckle has been by Gucci since the 50s.
According to the product description on the H&M website, there is also a concealed magnetic fastener to keep your valuables as you go about your day.
In fact, you can embody your inner ‘quiet luxury’ vibes as the slightly slouchy design makes it perfect for dressing up or down.

Unsurprisingly, H&M fans have been raving about the bag and even awarded it 4.6 stars in reviews.
In one five-star review, a happy customer wrote: “My new favourite bag. Exactly like the photo and such a beautiful colour, great quality. Goes well with my outfits.”
Others were similarly impressed with the ‘beautiful’ bag and even acknowledged that it was an amazing dupe of the high-end Gucci handbag.
“Beautiful handbag, gorgeous colour and very good dupe,” another commented, adding: “I’m very happy with my purchase.”
Scrolling through the reviews, the only complaint seems to be that shoppers wanted a slightly stronger zip fastening – instead of a magnet.
A third said: “Very cute and stylish bag [but] no zip to close… just [a] buckle.”
