Treefort Music Fest has emerged as a vibrant celebration of music and culture, captivating the hearts of many across the region. Over five exhilarating days, Boise transforms into a bustling hub of creativity, welcoming artists and enthusiasts alike to partake in its diverse offerings. This year marked my first journey to Treefort, inspired by the allure of its eclectic roster. My adventure commenced with TIMEWORM, a dynamic indie rock band hailing from Spokane. Their electrifying performance set the tone for what was to come, blending original tracks with playful covers that resonated with both fans and newcomers. Amidst the musical spectacle, moments between sets offered opportunities for discovery. Wandering through downtown Boise led me to hidden gems like Humpin’ Hannah’s, where camaraderie flourished over games of foosball amidst lively chatter.

The festival also served as a platform for numerous Spokane bands making their mark on the Treefort stage. From folk rock to hip-hop, these local talents showcased their unique styles, engaging with audiences far beyond their usual reach. Yet, the magic of Treefort extends beyond regional acts; it introduces visitors to unexpected treasures such as HUMBIRD and SOVE THE SECOND, whose enchanting performances left indelible impressions. Culminating each day with slices from Pie Hole added a delightful touch to this unforgettable experience, while additional attractions like comedy, yoga, and panels enriched the overall atmosphere.
