2025-04-18

A vibrant culinary tradition is back for its third season, offering residents and visitors a delightful way to savor local flavors. Every Friday evening, the streets of downtown LeClaire transform into a food lover's paradise as an array of mobile kitchens sets up shop. This year’s kickoff began on April 18 at 309 North Cody Road, featuring a diverse selection of cuisines from rotating vendors. On opening night, guests were treated to dishes from Mexies, Flavor Train, and Grilled Cheese Bar, setting the stage for an exciting season.

From late spring through early fall, these weekly gatherings invite everyone to indulge in fresh, creative meals crafted by passionate local chefs. Each event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., providing ample time for attendees to explore different options. Notably, the schedule excludes major holidays like the 4th of July and Tug Fest, ensuring that each gathering remains special. Those interested can stay updated via social media platforms, where upcoming vendor lists are regularly shared.

Gathering around delicious food fosters community spirit and supports local entrepreneurship. As participants enjoy unique offerings each week, they also contribute to the growth of small businesses within the region. Such initiatives not only enhance cultural vibrancy but also strengthen connections among community members who come together over shared experiences.
