Throughout the month of April, Sheppard Air Force Base joined forces with a regional food bank to address growing needs in the area. This initiative aimed to replenish dwindling supplies after the holiday season typically leaves many organizations struggling for donations.

According to David O’Neil, the head of the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, the generosity shown by the base and its squadrons was remarkable. Over 5,700 pounds of food were collected, destined to support tens of thousands of individuals across the region.
