2025-06-23

A much-anticipated celebration marking the arrival of summer is returning to the scenic landscape of Southeast Idaho. On June 28, from noon until the evening, the Pebble Creek Ski Area will transform into a vibrant hub for music enthusiasts and families alike. This year’s edition of the Wildflower Music Festival promises an unforgettable day filled with captivating melodies, delectable cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere that resonates throughout the event. Since its inception two decades ago as a community-driven initiative by the Pebble Creek Ski Patrol, this festival has blossomed into a cherished tradition, fueled by the generous support of local businesses and partnerships.

The festivities will unfold at the resort's base area, offering attendees a diverse array of attractions. A main stage will host talented performers, while food stalls and beverage stands cater to all tastes. Children and adults alike can enjoy interactive activities, explore Vendor's Row showcasing regional artisans, participate in raffles, or even join a trail race. Additionally, visitors will have the unique opportunity to ascend via the Sunshine Lift between 3 and 7 p.m., reveling in breathtaking views above the venue. Musical highlights include performances by Shawn Barnby, SpudMother, Steelhead Redd, The Opskamatrists, culminating with headliner Give It To ‘Em Florabelle taking the stage later in the evening.

As the community gathers to celebrate artistry and camaraderie, the Wildflower Music Festival also serves a noble cause. Funds raised during the event contribute significantly towards sustaining essential operations of the Pebble Creek Ski Patrol, including acquiring rescue equipment, medical supplies, maintaining facilities, and fostering professional development opportunities within the National Ski Patrol network. To ensure maximum participation, organizers encourage carpooling and offer complimentary parking for vehicles transporting three or more guests. Admission remains free for children aged 12 and under, making it accessible for families to partake in this joyful occasion together.

Gathering amidst nature’s splendor, individuals connect through shared experiences and harmonious sounds, strengthening bonds among neighbors and fostering pride in their surroundings. Such events remind us of the power of collective effort in nurturing both cultural vibrancy and communal well-being, inspiring hope and unity across generations.
