After his first divorce, Woolery married actress Jo Ann Pflug from 1972 to 1980, and they had a daughter named Melissa. Later, in 1985, he married Teri Nelson and they remained together until 2004. After having his third child, Woolery revealed that he had undergone a vasectomy but had it reversed when Nelson expressed a desire for more children. They had two sons - Michael and Sean.
