A fresh update for the popular game Dead by Daylight, titled Steady Pulse, has arrived on all major platforms. This release introduces Orela Rose, a Survivor whose character is defined by her unwavering dedication to others. Her journey into The Fog isn't just about personal survival; it's about ensuring the safety of everyone around her. Motivated by the tragic loss of her best friend, Orela abandoned her university studies to pursue a career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Her calm and composed nature quickly propelled her to the forefront of her profession, where she thrives under pressure, making her an invaluable asset to her fellow Survivors.

Orela brings three unique abilities that enhance her effectiveness in dire situations. These include 'Do No Harm,' which boosts healing efficiency based on the condition of other players; 'Duty of Care,' offering temporary speed enhancements to nearby teammates; and 'Rapid Response,' a daring move that reveals the presence of adversaries while sacrificing her own stamina. In conjunction with this update, Behaviour Interactive has partnered with CHU Sainte-Justine's Foundation, a charitable organization supporting pediatric advancements. From May 6 to May 27, proceeds from two of Orela's in-game outfits will be donated to aid hospitalized children, showcasing the developer's commitment to giving back to the community.

Beyond the introduction of Orela Rose, the Overgrowth update enriches the game experience by allowing players to activate all quests simultaneously. This enhancement streamlines progression through The Rift, previously known as The Archives, providing a more efficient reward system. Additionally, fans can look forward to new cosmetic items such as the Dark Overgrowth Collection and the returning Guardians & Shadows Collection, set to debut on May 13.
