An exciting Easter event awaits families at Camp Winnebago, featuring a treasure hunt for eggs and various festive activities. On April 12, the gates will open at 11:30 a.m., inviting attendees to this vibrant gathering located at 5804 N. Main Street in Rockford. Visitors can anticipate finding countless eggs brimming with delightful treats and surprises, including a particularly special golden egg concealing an extraordinary reward.
The egg hunting experience is thoughtfully organized into multiple rounds based on age categories to ensure fairness and enjoyment for all participants. Children aged five and under will have their turns at noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Those between six and nine years old are scheduled for hunts starting at 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., and 2:15 p.m. Meanwhile, older children ten years and above will participate in waves beginning at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Families are reminded to bring along a basket or bag to gather their treasures.
Beyond the thrill of the egg hunt, guests can immerse themselves in additional Easter-themed attractions, interactive games, and creative crafts. This event not only fosters community spirit but also provides a platform for families to create cherished memories together. Such gatherings remind us of the joy that comes from shared experiences and the importance of traditions that bring people closer.
