At Kane Street Kids, we believe that a child's parents and guardians are their first teachers. Before children ever set foot into our building, they have already learned so much from all of you. This is why we love to collaborate with families–you are the expert on your child, which is why we value open and consistent communication with all of the important adults in your child's life.
Empowering Families, Enriching Minds
Building a Community of Collaboration
At Kane Street Kids, we understand that the foundation of a child's education is laid long before they step into a classroom. That's why we place such a strong emphasis on collaborating with families – because you, as the parents and guardians, are the true experts when it comes to your child. By working together, we can create a learning environment that is tailored to each individual child's needs, interests, and strengths. Our approach to education is grounded in the belief that learning is a shared journey, not a one-way street. We invite families to be active participants in their child's educational experience, offering open and consistent communication to ensure that every child's unique needs are met. Whether it's through regular check-ins, parent-teacher conferences, or special events, we strive to create a seamless partnership between home and school.Exploring the Kane Street Kids Experience
One of the best ways to experience the magic of Kane Street Kids is to join us for our Fall Open House on Sunday, November 17 at 12:00pm. This event will provide you with a comprehensive look at our programs and the vibrant community we've built.During the Open House, you'll have the opportunity to hear from our Preschool Director, Cam, who will give a formal presentation about our approach to early childhood education. You'll also get to meet other members of the Kane Street Kids community, including teachers and staff, and have the chance to ask any questions you may have. But the real highlight of the Open House will be the chance to explore our classrooms and facilities firsthand. As you wander through the building, you'll have the opportunity to interact with our teachers and get a feel for the warm, nurturing environment that we've created. You'll see the children engaged in hands-on learning activities, and you'll get a sense of the collaborative spirit that permeates every aspect of our program.Admissions and Enrollment
