Kedoo Entertainment, a prominent player in the children's content space based in London, is making significant strides to enhance its digital footprint. The company has unveiled the Super Toons app, secured new FAST channel agreements, and acquired the animated series Gormiti Seasons 1 and 2. These developments mark an ambitious push into expanding their reach and diversifying their content portfolio.
In a vibrant era for children’s entertainment, Kedoo Entertainment has taken notable steps to strengthen its presence. Recently, they introduced the Super Toons app, which provides a monthly subscription service at an affordable rate. This platform features a lineup of popular children's shows, including Angry Birds, Masha and the Bear, and Pororo the Little Penguin. The app builds on the success of the Super Toons TV YouTube channels, which boast over 20 million subscribers globally.
Beyond the app, Kedoo has expanded its FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) distribution. Their Super Toons TV channel, available since 2020 on Samsung TV Plus, now enjoys partnerships with TCL and Xiaomi. TCL will broadcast both Super Toons TV and Toon Mania across its global network, while Xiaomi will feature Super Toons TV on its European platforms, reaching countries like France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
A major addition to Kedoo’s library is the acquisition of Gormiti, an action-packed animated series centered around four young adventurers who must harness mystical powers to combat evil forces. Starting this month, most of Kedoo’s platforms will showcase this Italian toy-inspired franchise.
Olivier Bernard, Kedoo’s co-founder and COO, emphasized the importance of creating safe, educational, and engaging environments for children through these initiatives. Kedoo is renowned for its flagship brand Booba, a YouTube sensation with over 19 million subscribers.
This strategic expansion reflects Kedoo’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and enriching the viewing experience for families worldwide.
From a journalistic perspective, Kedoo’s efforts highlight the growing demand for high-quality children's content in today's digital age. By leveraging technology and forming strategic alliances, the company not only caters to evolving consumer preferences but also sets a benchmark for innovation within the industry. Such moves underscore the significance of adapting to technological advancements while maintaining core values of safety and education in children's media.
