A weekend-long celebration of music and community wrapped up on Monday night, leaving residents and visitors alike with unforgettable memories. The event, spanning from Friday to Sunday, featured an extensive array of performances that catered to all musical tastes, concluding with a final karaoke session. This grand festival showcased the town's rich cultural tapestry and its commitment to fostering a lively atmosphere for people of all ages.

Organized by Discover Burnley in collaboration with more than twenty local establishments, this annual gathering illuminated Burnley's burgeoning music scene. On Friday evening, the festivities commenced with interactive karaoke gatherings at multiple locations such as The Big Window, The Royal Dyche, and The Turf. Meanwhile, enthusiasts participated in a complimentary seminar dedicated to organizing music events at Burnley Mechanics Theatre. Later that night, Fleetwood Bac thrilled audiences at the same venue, complemented by various other acts performing across different spots around town.

Saturday and Sunday were equally vibrant, brimming with live performances and street performances that animated the heart of the city. The Artisan Market returned to St James’ Street, accompanied by captivating tunes from Tommy O’Neill, while energetic rhythms filled Charter Walk courtesy of Northern Dholis. Families enjoyed live wrestling matches at Burnley Market, and Isabella Withnell entertained brunch-goers at Ellis’s bottomless brunch. Throughout the weekend, the main stage on Ormerod Street resonated with powerful sets from numerous talented groups, including Old Habits, The Vibe, and Skafull. Performances also continued in several venues like Hatters Craft Bar, Hidden, The Swan, The Palazzo, among others.

Burnley Live has rapidly become a cornerstone of the town's calendar, uniting individuals through shared passions for music and camaraderie. It not only highlights the diversity of talent within the community but also strengthens bonds between neighbors. As Laura Diffey, Burnley BID project manager, expressed before the event, the aim was to create something even more spectacular this year—and they succeeded admirably. Tonight marks the triumphant conclusion of Burnley Live 2025 with one last opportunity for attendees to showcase their vocal skills at The Big Window, ensuring the weekend ends on a high note.
