Furthermore, the interface includes shortcuts leading to the game’s store page, recent updates, and other relevant game specifics.

While this concept introduces an innovative way to explore game-related data, it may inadvertently add an extra step for users eager to dive straight into gameplay. According to Tom Warren from The Verge, participants in the Xbox Insiders program can disable this feature for game tiles on the home screen but not beyond it. Some community feedback suggests that integrating these hub pages via the X button, which already displays supplementary options, rather than the A button traditionally used to launch games instantly, could be a more user-friendly approach.

As testing progresses, feedback from users will play a crucial role in shaping the final implementation. Although Microsoft continues to explore ways to enhance the home screen's user interface and layout, past updates have occasionally prioritized promotional elements over pure usability. Ideally, a customizable home screen would empower players to tailor their experience entirely.
