The Øksenelvane plant is expected to generate 171GWh annually, sufficient to power 10,000 households. It includes a new roof, the conversion of classroom and office spaces into labs, updates to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and the expansion of kitchen, dining, and theatre spaces. Additionally, a new police office will be added.The renovation also involves refreshing and reconfiguring administration areas, common spaces, and classrooms. This will enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of the campus. Skanska, with its experience in similar projects, is well-equipped to handle this renovation work. The company has a history with Collin College, having worked on three previous campus projects.
