Hemro Group and Fetco Forge Exclusive Partnership for Ditting Grinders in the U.S.
2025-03-05

In a strategic move within the coffee equipment industry, Hemro Group, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Fetco, a specialist in batch brewing equipment. This collaboration aims to enhance the availability and support of Ditting grinders across the United States. The deal reflects a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet the demands of businesses operating in high-volume coffee environments. Ditting grinders are renowned for their durability and precision, making them ideal for settings such as coffee packing lines, supermarkets, and bustling cafes. Both companies express enthusiasm about setting new standards in coffee excellence through this partnership.

The Hemro Group's portfolio includes several well-known coffee grinder brands like Mahlkönig, Anfim, and HeyCafé. Within this lineup, Ditting stands out as a preferred choice for businesses requiring robust and precise grinding solutions. Christopher Nowak, president and CEO of Fetco, emphasized the company's dedication to providing top-tier tools to coffee professionals. He noted that Ditting's reputation for reliability aligns perfectly with Fetco's mission, further highlighting the synergy between the two brands.

Historically, Ditting grinders were distributed in the U.S. by Ditting USA, a company founded by Albert Bezjian and later operated by Nancy and Will Wideman in Michigan. Following Bezjian’s retirement in 2021 and the closure of Ditting USA, Hemro Group appointed Prima Coffee Equipment as the interim distributor. However, the new partnership with Fetco marks a significant shift, offering a wider range of Ditting models alongside Fetco's extensive line of commercial brewing and related equipment. Located in the Chicago area, Fetco also distributes Brood nitro dispenser machines and HardTank brewing devices, solidifying its position as a comprehensive supplier in the coffee industry.

This partnership not only enhances the accessibility of Ditting grinders but also underscores the importance of reliable and high-performance equipment in the coffee sector. By combining the strengths of Hemro Group and Fetco, the two companies aim to elevate the standard of coffee preparation and service in various commercial settings. The collaboration promises to bring innovative solutions and superior customer support to coffee professionals across the United States.
