After experiencing a similar location in Louisiana with their autistic son Walker, they were captivated by the idea of creating their own gym. The facility will be equipped with various sensory-stimulating tools such as a zip slider and swings featuring diverse textures like carpet and bubbles. For instance, activities involving tactile sensations, such as rolling tables with textured surfaces, cater to preferences common among autistic children. In addition to recreational equipment, the gym will include therapy rooms, a designated space for teens, a calming room, and plans for social groups to foster community interaction.
