The accident occurred around mid-morning on the westbound side of the highway. According to Massachusetts State Police, emergency responders arrived to find one of the drivers involved not breathing, leading to Moniz being pronounced dead at the scene. Known for his vibrant personality and love for music, Moniz will be remembered as a devoted family man and an individual who brought joy to all those fortunate enough to know him.
