On Wednesday, Volkswagen introduced its latest electric vehicle (EV) concept in Wolfsburg, Germany. The ID.EVERY1 is designed to be an accessible and practical EV for the general public, primarily targeting European consumers. Built on Volkswagen's versatile MEB platform, the ID.EVERY1 will feature advanced software architecture and offer a range of about 155 miles (250 km). The ID.EVERY1 joins the lineup of Volkswagen's electric models, including the ID.2all and the sporty ID.GTI. By 2027, Volkswagen plans to release four new electric models based on the front-wheel-drive version of this platform. One of the key features of the ID.EVERY1 is its cutting-edge software system, developed through a $5 billion partnership with Rivian. The ID.EVERY1 is equipped with a 70 kW (94 horsepower) electric motor, enabling it to reach speeds over 80 mph (130 km/h).
