Wharton Center Unveils a Diverse and Inspiring Performing Arts Season for 2025-2026

The Wharton Center has announced its highly anticipated 2025-2026 Performing Arts Season, offering audiences an array of performances designed to engage the spirit and foster connections. Subscription packages will be available starting April 23 at 9AM. This season is set to bring together passionate narratives and immersive cultural experiences from around the globe, aiming to unite the community with international arts.

This upcoming season features 31 shows that highlight the center's commitment to inspiring and empowering through meaningful artistic endeavors. Among the highlights are return visits by renowned ensembles such as London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring violinist Ray Chen, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra led by Wynton Marsalis. Additionally, the Club 750 series introduces three new Broadway Cabaret concerts, bringing Broadway talent into an intimate setting.

A notable world premiere is "Sally: A Solo Play," written by East Lansing playwright Sandra Seaton, exploring Sally Hemings' reflections on her relationship with Thomas Jefferson. Subscribers can tailor their experience by selecting five or more events, gaining access to exclusive benefits like priority seating and flexible payment options. The lineup includes a mix of classical music, global sounds, jazz, comedy, and family-friendly performances.

Among the featured performances, audiences can look forward to Classic Albums Live presenting Fleetwood Mac's "RUMORS," Cirque Kalabanté's Afrique En Cirque, and National Geographic Live presentations.
