Esteemed eateries from the region showcased their finest creations, accompanied by lively entertainment and community engagement activities that left attendees with cherished memories.

The event featured over sixty-nine establishments presenting delectable offerings while fostering a sense of togetherness among food enthusiasts and families alike. Sustainability efforts were also highlighted as surplus food was redirected to those in need, setting a benchmark for responsible event management.

A Culinary Showcase Unveiled

The festival sprawled across multiple stages, each pulsating with live performances that complemented the vibrant atmosphere. Families enjoyed interactive exhibits within the Kids Zone, generously sponsored by Georgia United Credit Union, ensuring younger guests remained entertained and engaged.

An educational highlight was the Locally Grown section, where eleven organizations educated visitors about the intricacies of our food systems through hands-on displays. This initiative underscored the importance of understanding food origins and sustainable practices.

Culinary Excellence Recognized

In the prestigious 2025 Culinary Competition, hosted by Mise en Place Cooking Studio, chefs competed fiercely in a blind tasting judged by a diverse panel comprising culinary experts, critics, and local dignitaries. The competition evaluated dishes based on presentation, innovation, and flavor profile, resulting in commendable accolades for standout entries.

Foundation Social Eatery emerged victorious with its Crisp Spanish Octopus in the appetizer category, while Jang Su Jang Korean BBQ claimed the entrée title with their LA Kalbi. For dessert, the Tropical Mousse by Foundation Social Eatery captivated judges' palates, securing top honors. These victories reflect the exceptional talent and creativity present within Alpharetta's gastronomic scene.

Public Voice Resonates

Beyond professional recognition, the People’s Choice Awards allowed festival-goers to voice their preferences across various categories. City BBQ clinched Best Overall Restaurant, exemplifying consistent excellence, whereas Beto’s Tacos received dual recognition for both Rookie Award and Best Street Food.

JINYA Ramen Bar earned appreciation for its vegetarian dish, highlighting inclusivity within the culinary spectrum. Such public feedback not only celebrates favorite establishments but also drives continuous improvement and innovation within the local dining landscape.

Sustainability in Action

Commitment to environmental responsibility shone brightly as Taste of Alpharetta collaborated with Second Helpings Atlanta. Through this partnership, nearly two hundred pounds of leftover food found new purpose, benefiting local non-profits dedicated to alleviating food insecurity.

This endeavor involved numerous participating restaurants such as Boarding Pass Coffee, Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar, Fogon and Lions Alpharetta, among others, demonstrating collective dedication towards reducing waste and supporting community welfare initiatives.

With successful milestones achieved, anticipation builds for the upcoming 34th Annual Taste of Alpharetta scheduled for May 14, 2026. Promising enhanced experiences with additional flavors, melodies, and family-oriented attractions, organizers aim to surpass previous editions.
