Meanwhile, at Hinsdale Central McCarthy Invite, Lincoln-Way West excelled, finishing second overall behind Oak Park-River Forest. Their standout athletes included Austin Rowswell, who triumphed in both the 200 and 400 meters.

Baseball saw several thrilling matchups where pitching prowess and timely hits determined outcomes. At New Lenox, Luke Mensik led Lincoln-Way Central to victory against Andrew, allowing only two hits while striking out three batters. Further north, Morris delivered a powerful offensive display by defeating Oswego 13-7, highlighted by Jack Wheeler's double home runs. On the diamond, softball teams also showcased their talents; Herscher narrowly edged Dwight after an eleven-inning marathon, thanks to Dori Wilson’s stellar batting contribution.
