2025-04-14

An eagerly anticipated strategy game set in the Star Wars universe will make its debut later this month. Fans attending the Star Wars Celebration Japan on April 19th will get an exclusive first glimpse into "Zero Company," a project announced in 2022 but now officially named by Electronic Arts (EA). According to official sources, this new title is crafted as a single-player turn-based tactics experience designed to immerse players in strategic gameplay within the iconic galaxy far, far away.

The development of Zero Company is spearheaded by Bit Reactor, a studio renowned for its expertise in crafting acclaimed strategy games such as XCOM and Civilization. Collaborating alongside EA's Respawn Entertainment and Disney’s Lucasfilm Games, the team aims to deliver a unique gaming adventure. While details regarding release dates and supported platforms remain under wraps, enthusiasts hope that these mysteries will be unraveled during the upcoming showcase at the Star Wars Celebration.

In addition to Zero Company, Respawn has two other Star Wars-themed projects in the works. One of them, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, already delighted fans as the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order in 2023. The third project hints at an entirely fresh FPS experience. As anticipation builds for the unveiling of Zero Company, it signifies not only the evolution of gaming within the Star Wars franchise but also the boundless creativity and innovation driving the industry forward, inspiring both creators and players alike.
